Chastity received her name from Bette Largent, our on-staff horse painter. When Bette first painted her, she was much whiter than the other horses. She is a lady with her prim head position, and has an angelic appearance with the cherub on her cantle. Chastity, the name for purity, seemed to be a proper fit!
Chastity is carved in George Washington style, and is available as a limited edition miniature carousel reproduction (by Jerry Reinhardt) through the
Riverfront Park gift shop!
