Meet Billy Bob!

It was decided that the gold border on the blanket gave the appearance that the blanket was undersized for the goat. So the border color was changed from gold to green. Here the base coat for the plaid pattern on the blanket has been applied, and chalk lines have been placed where the painted contours of the blanket will be applied.

The aluminum foil on the saddle is used like masking paper, to prevent the color of the goat from being applied to the saddle. This type of saddle is known as a floating saddle, because the cantle (the back part of the saddle) is unsupported.
