Carving a Carousel Horse

Before the sides are glued onto the body block, we supply the owner of the carousel horse with a small wooden box in which they can store memorabilia. This gets encapsulated into the body cavity of the horse. The horse becomes a family heirloom!

This horse is going to be mounted on a set of rockers rather than on a carousel pole. We have added a steel plate to the inside belly of the horse to give added strength to the rocking platform.
